Habit

Round fruit umbels, like ivy, dense with black berries, poisonous.
Leaves
Palmately cut, pinnately ovoid leaflets, early shoots in April, green; pale yellow in autumn.
Twigs
Brownish grey, with warts and some prickles.
Roots
Forming shallow roots, tending to form runners.
Demands
Sun to shade; tolerates heat, likes warmth, tolerates low humidity; resistant to urban and industrial pollution.
