Camellia japonica in Farben weiß, rot, rosa, lachs

Medium to large shrub or small tree, depending on variety 2-9 m tall, 3-4 m wide, upright to spreading, densely bushy, slow-growing.

Splendid flowers, white, pink and red, 5-12.5 cm wide, numerous flower shapes from single to completely double, profuse, winter to spring.

Evergreen, shiny dark green, coarse, elliptical, broad, 5-10 cm long.

Shade, only for sheltered areas, survives in the open when covered in fleece, cold to warm house, no extreme temperature fluctuations, high humidity, tolerates hard cutting.

Evenly fresh to moist, well drained, humic to half-bog, acidic, pH 5.5 to 6.5.

Should be planted in spring before flowering.
