Lorenz von Ehren Manual

In the Lorenz von Ehren Manual we list more than 2,000 trees, shrubs and other plants. Detailed descriptions all the plants are provided by Peter Kiermeier, dirctor of Sichtungsgarten, at Weihenstephan near Munich, and most of the plants are illustrated. The manual is over 1,000 pages.

The thumb index makes it easier to access each of the clearly laid out sections. There are sections on Deciduous and Coniferous Plants, Topiary and Fruit Trees.

Rhododendrons and Roses are each given separate sections, and all these plants are illustrated.

The section on Perennials covers 250 species with information about their individual requirements.

The section on Mediterranean Plants, lists 50 species covering the range of pot plants and plants suitable for winter (i.e. glasshouse or protected) gardens.

The planning tips have been researched and written by Peter Kiermeier and these cover the entire range of plants in the manual. There are 56 lists and tables to assist with the selection of trees and shrubs, and 31 lists and tables for perennial plants. Extremely useful information is given about the characteristics and habit of individual plants, their requirements and their uses.

The third edition of the CD-ROM contains more than 2,400 pictures of plants in user-friendly format. Each picture can be printed in an A4 format if required. Plants can be selected and ordered using information on the CD-ROM.

The plant shop with shopping cart function, automatic price calculation and flexible discounts facilitates ordering.
