Flowers
Yellow, May to June.
Fruits
Ovoid, like berries, bluish black, unpalatable.
Leaves
Evergreen, elongated, up to 8 cm, shiny dark green on top, bluish white underneath; needle-like leaf margins.
Demands
Partially sunny to lightly shady; tolerates heat, warm to cool, moderately frost hardy, needs high humidity.
Soil
Slightly dry to fresh; acidic to alkaline, all well drained substrates.
