Pretty golden yellow panicles, plentiful; May; usually with second blossoms in summer.
Fruits
Blue-black.
Leaves
Evergreen, somewhat thorny-pointed, slender with a rolled up margin (like rosemary), dark green on top, bluish white underneath.
Demands
Sun to semi-shade, needs warmth and winter protection; regenerates after frost damage and cutting; tolerates urban and industrial pollution.
Soil
Well drained, not too dry garden soil.
