Whitish purple, bilabial, like thyme in five to seven flowered whorls, soft, loose flower panicles, many flowers from June to October, slightly fragrant.

Small, oval, pale green, very aromatic mint fragrance.

Only full sunlight, tolerates heat, likes warmth, frost hardy.

Dry to fresh; well-drained, likes chalk, not humic, for gravel or sandy loam with gravel.
