Camellia sasangua

White and pink, single, cup-shaped, 4-6 cm wide, fragrant, profuse, mid to late autumn.

Elongated-elliptical or broadly elliptical, dark green on top, paler underneath, up to 8 cm long.

Full sun, sheltered, hot and continental, more frost hardy than C. japonica, but protect from frost when flowering, tolerates hard cutting.
