Fruit

Round to ovoid, prickly, brown, female cones, 2.5-3.5 cm long.

Leaves

Evergreen, grey or dark green, in dense clusters, roundish with pointed ends, up to 0.1 cm long.

Bark

Thin, grey-brown, with grooves.

Demands

Full sun, protected, somewhat frost hardy, cold house.

Natural habitat

Loamy, nutritious, alkaline, well drained.
