Evergreen, hair-thin, shoots intense blue, later more grey-blue.

Demands

Sun, does not take well to shade, tolerates heat, likes warmth, frost hardy.

Soil

Dry to fresh, likes chalk, well-drained, sandy-gravelly, loamy gravel, rots on nutritious and loamy soil.
