Small crimson-pink flower cups after shooting, in clusters on tips of twigs, June to July.
Fruits
Inconspicuous.
Leaves
Evergreen, lanceolate, up to 6 cm long, fresh green or pale blue-green, in clusters on twig ends.
Demands
Sun to semi-shady; avoids heat and drought; frost hardy.
Soil
For fresh to damp, acidic or neutral, very humic substrates.
