Broad, bushy clumps with towering, strong flower shoots.

Leaf tufts 60-80 cm high, 80-100 cm wide; flower shoots 100-120 cm high.

Similar to marguerites, as large as the palm of your hand, golden yellow petals, dark yellow disc, in loose cymes, August to September.

Broadly round, kidney-shaped or cordate, up to 35 cm wide, dark green on top, reddish green beneath, petioles reddish.

Light shade to semi-shade, likes cool, humid areas.

Fresh to damp, sensitive to heat and drought, usually frost hardy, nutritious, humic, loamy, clay.

Protect from snails and slugs.
