Large shrub or small tree, 4-6 m tall and 4 m wide, loosely conical, round crown when old, slow-growing.
Flowers
Plentiful before leaves shoot, broadly star-shaped, shimmering white, somewhat double flowers, end of April to beginning of May, pleasant fragrance.
Leaves
Large, 10-15 cm long, reverse-ovoid, fresh green leaves, inconspicuous autumn colours.
Demands
Frost hardy.
Soil
Tolerates slightly acidic soil.
