Upright, funnel-shaped to round shrub, 1.5-2 (3) m tall and wide, very slow-growing.
Flowers
Before leaves shoot, pretty white stars spread far apart in April, pleasant fragrance.
Leaves
Reverse-ovoid, light to medium-green, yellow in October.
Demands
Sun to slightly shady so that flowers do not open so early as plant is less sensitive to late frost.
