Mahonia aquifolium 'Apollo'

Domed small shrub with many shoots, broad and bushy, 0.6-1 m tall and wide, slow-growing, lower than M. aquifolium.

Yellow panicles somewhat larger than M. aquifolium, April to May.

Evergreen, shiny dark green, shoots bronze, crimson to dark red in winter.

See M. aquifolium, but hardier.
